Nigerian Army Has Cleared Seven Villages In Borno State



The Nigerian Army has cleared seven villages in Borno State as part of its operations againstBoko Haram

This was disclosed by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman via a statement.

It reads:

“As the clearance and rescue operations gain momentum, troops of 28 Task Force Brigade have cleared the enclaves of Boko Haram terrorists at Galtha Baba, Galtha Musa, Bulakurma, Shatimari, Chukruk, Bulangaje and Disa villages.

“During the operation, one insurgent was captured. The soldiers rescued 15 persons held hostage by the terrorists.”

Usman also said that the soldiers had recovered three motorcycles, bags of grain, terrorists’ flags and uniforms during the operation.
